D.E.L.E. Preparation
The DELE Preparation course, focussing on the exam preparation, consists of 20 hours per week divided into 4 lessons a day. Its main objective is the preparation for the D.E.L.E. exam (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language). In general classes take place in the morning although we might also have a group in the evenings (depending on the participants and their levels). We offer the D.E.L.E. preparation course for all levels and the minimum amount of students required to open a group is 3.
The D.E.L.E. exam can be taken three times a year: in May, August and November. The exam can be taken in six levels: A1, A2, B1 (beginners), B2 (intermediate), C1 (advanced) and C2 (superior).
The objective of the course is to receive the D.E.L.E. certificate which is awarded by Instituto Cervantes in the name of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Spain. The program of the course is structured according to the concept of the exam, which means practising the four linguistic skills as well as taking a test exam to check the knowledge of vocabulary and grammar.
In any of the courses the student decides to participate in (group lessons or private tutorial), real examples of the D.E.L.E. exam will be practised in the same time space which will be given by the board of examiners. Likewise, the centre of attention will not only be the examples but also the strategies and means on how to optimise the student's capacities to achieve his expected results.
In order to participate in one of our D.E.L.E. preparation courses, it is important to do a level test to let us determine the student's current level of Spanish. Aside from that, it is also recommendable to do an oral test as well as a specific test in order to confirm the level and to make sure that he will pass the exam successfully.
